Teacher at the Tórshavn Art School, Graphics

”I have for several years experimented with different graphic techniques – e.g. etching, lithography, linocut, woodcut, carborundum, monotype and photogravure. I am inspired by my natural Faroese surroundings and tha interaction between man and his society. As an expressionist, I convert every day life into picture form.
I mainly use clean, bold colours together with black or white.

My pictures are often simplified and minimalistic.”
